PLANNING AHEAD FOR THE FUTURE.

Gladly we are almost done paying my husband's truck probably by next month if by God's will; we had enough money to pay the remaining balance. We have been persistent in paying most of our bills since last year. Though we had a lot of payments to make and still I was able to send some money to my family back home in the Philippines and with my brother continued his college degree. I can't imagine how we did it, but I feel so blessed that slowly my dreams were coming true already with a big helped from my husband who always support me in all my decisions. I just pray and hope that everything that we have started will continue, but of course with God's guidance and protection until we reached our goal together in the future.

Barefoot Contessa: A Cool Show

Guest post written by Derick Burks

I love the show, "Barefoot Contessa," on the Food Network. This is one of my favorite shows to watch on the Food Network. I always love to see the new recipes that Contessa has prepared for audiences. She is so down to earth and truly loves to teach others her secrets to success. I watch this show every second I get on my satellite tv (check it out). This is one of those shows that simply no one should miss!

If one wants to learn the art of baking, then this is the show for them. One will learn how to cook all sorts of desserts from this show. In addition, Contessa is grea! t at teaching people how to bake beautiful cakes for all sorts of events. I once baked a divine chocolate cake for a cocktail party. Let me just tell you, that all of my guests went absolutely wild for this chocolate cake that I baked. So many of my guests asked me where I had learned such a fabulous recipe. I was honest and told my guests that they had to watch episodes of "Barefoot Contessa" if they truly wanted to learn how to bake. This show is fabulous for the many ways it teaches people how to bake. I love this show so much and recommend it to almost every person that I know!

LAZY ME

I have been crazy watching all the movies I borrowed in the library this past few days. Every time I got a chance I am always in the living room lying on the couch while watching movies, good thing that my husband just let me be lazy during my days off from work. I feel bad though because his been running around doing some errands and making sure that the house will stay warm while I am just being lazy inside the house...LOL.

MY OVERWORKED HUSBAND

I slept late last night watching movies while my husband go to bed very early because he needed more energy to stand a ten hours work for today. Although we are glad that he has having an overtime this past weeks, but at the same time I feel bad for him because I know how tiring it is especially if you wake up at four in the morning and very cold outside. I wanted to help him, but I know he won't allow me to take care of him like I wanted to be. He is a very responsible person and don't want to depend on others so I just let him do his things on his own way every day and I don't want to be the reason to ruin his day.
