HELPING A FRIEND AND AT THE SAME TIME HAVING A LITTLE PARTY

After I went to church today, we just go home get something to drink in the house and then, my husband and I decided to go to our friend's house to help a little bit in doing their workshop. They were so good to us, her husband help us when we do our front porch. We get there after lunch time and there were few other guys who help them too. While the men are working the women just stayed inside the house and talking to each other and singing in the karaoke. Every now and then some of the men came inside the house and had a coffee break as what we say...LOL.

It has been couple of months since the last time we saw them because we both busy with our job especially me that I was just started and my husband need to get me after my work. My husband and I had really a great time out there, we got a chance to see our friends again.

ADVANTAGE OF HAVING A CREDIT CARD

It felt so great when my husband told me that he already sent out the check to pay our credit card. It does really bug me for a while because I am not used to have a credit card although it helps us a lot also to buy my plane ticket to come here in the United States. I may feel a big relief on my mind and heart because we will be having less worries, but we need to tighten our wallet as well and watch out our spending every time we go to the store to buy our groceries. We need to cut some of the things we usually do like going to a movie theater or buy some stuff that is not on our list for two or three months.

Having a credit card nowadays is a good thing because most of the transaction we do when we purchase something we used it. Just always put a limitation in yourself when using a credit card so that you won't have a problem in the future. Some
company offers internet merchant account processing services to serve their clients in a more convenient way. We all know that if we had a good credit record it means we can purchase anything we want because they will be going to use our credit report as a reference if we can really pay them back.

CUTTING MY OWN HAIR

I really like to cut my hair a few months ago, but I am scared to do it myself because it might look worse. Every time I asked my husband to cut my hair he always turned it down and tease me if I would like to look like him, then there is a possibility that he is going to do it. I am used to having my haircut every month or two to prevent split ends and it makes my hair grow healthier.

After I'm done taking a bath this morning while waiting for my father-in-law to bring me to work I decided to cut my hair. At first I am scared to do it, but I always tell to myself it's now or never and finally I got the courage to do it. It is hard because I really don't know what I am doing although I have a mirror at my back and in front of me as well to check every now and then. Luckily it turns out good after a few trimming I don't care much if it is not straight at all. The fact that I finally cut my hair makes me happy and decided that I can do it every two months now.

MY FIRST TIME USE OF THE DISHWASHER

As usual every time I got my day-off I normally do the general house cleaning. Since I have been so tired after I am done with my job all the plates that we used when we ate just stock in the dishes. I really hate looking at the huge file of dishes although it is my fault as well because I have been so lazy this past few days. I decided to start using our dishwasher that I don't like to use before. Cleaning the house really takes a lot of time for me and really makes me tired afterwards, but at least I could be more relaxed sitting in the couch with a clean house.

When my husband got home from work and I tell him that I am going to start using the dishwasher he laughed at me and told me that finally I am retiring from doing a dishes my way..LOL. I love doing dishes my way honestly and I hate to admit that I like more using the dishwasher now because of the situation that we are both working now.

MY CALENDAR HELPS ME TRACK MY WORKING TIME AND SCHEDULES

Finding a job at this point of time is so hard, I have been through that road before I keep on looking for a job for almost ten months before I find one, but it is not really a permanent job. They are just going to call me whenever they got a rush job and if not I just have to stay in the house be fat and get lazy which I don't like. In a job like I got before that it is not permanent I have to always keep track on my time and always put a mark on my calendar for my future references. It does help a lot in case I lost some hours in my paycheck, then I can show them the calendar where I mark my days of work as an evidence. It is not that hard to do it although you just need to put a little bit of your time.

Now that I find a permanent job I am still doing it, keeping track of my time and honestly it does save me couple of times now because my paycheck has always had a wrong entry for my regular working hours and overtime hours. Every time I make a complaint I bring my paycheck with my little calendar to show my boss the days I am working so she can check on her time entry if something is missing since there were times that the computer is not working well and then we just write our time in a piece of paper and then she just transfers it later whenever the computer is ready. NFL SUPERBOWL CHAMPION: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

A cousin of my husband invite us to watch the NFL championship in their house last Saturday night, but when I get home from work tonight I feel so tired all I want is just to sit and relax. I told my husband that we just stay home so he called his cousin to tell them that we can't go in their place.




My husband and I just watch the NFL championship in the house and it is my first time to watch the Superbowl. It is fun watching it we don't feel bored because of the intensity of the game. I am glad my husband got a little patience answering all the questions I asked about the violations each team got. The aggressiveness of the New Orleans Saints paid off because they became the champion. Their quarterback is teary-eyed while carrying his baby sharing the best moment on his career, all his teammates and their coaches and everybody behind the teams are very happy to get their very first trophy in the NFL history.

MY FASCINATION WITH MOTOR BIKES

Last summer a friend of my husband asked him to buy his motorcycle because he needed some money that time, but unfortunately we can't release that much money that soon. After a week he asked us, we just heard from my husband's brother that he already has that motor bike and he was driving it that day so I saw it as well. It is still neat and nice, no wonder my husband like to buy it. On our way home he told me that he could sell it more than what he should pay for it.

It would have been fun to have another type of vehicle especially during summer. Cruising around while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the countryside...oh boy! I love it. When we are driving our dune buggy during summer and I saw those bikers with their gorgeous motor bikes. They ride with groups all of them are wearing black leather jackets and jeans. If you own a motorcycle and planning to do a little bit beautification for it to satisfied your taste you could try to visit Bikemaster and check some of the items they got.

BE HEALTHY AND NOT FAT

When I get here in the United States everything has changed in my life. It was such a big decision that I make in my entire life and a risk I have to take and face whatever challenge that may come on my way and be away with my home and family and be with the man who promised to love and take care of me.


I just stayed home most of the time when my husband is at work. For all those months that I was just in the house although I did some household chores and gardening outside doesn't stop me in gaining weight. I feel bad one day when I wear my clothes and it won't fit me anymore. Mostly clothes that I brought was too tight for me. I am not a body conscious before, but now I am starting to be insecure about it. I made a goal for myself that I will slow down the way I eat and lose some of the weight I gained. I have to put my mind to it not for someone, but for myself because I don't want to lose my self-esteem. I saw so many commercials on TV about how to lose some weight there were some exercise machines, diet meals, lap band and many more. Honestly losing weight is hard and I know it takes time and my willingness will bring me back on track.

I GOT TWO DAYS OFF ON MY WEEKDAYS

Last Saturday evening when my husband and I together with his nephew is at the mall my boss called me to work for my co-workers time because she was so sick without hesitation since my husband and I don't have special plan in going out that weekend I take the opportunity. That's why they I got two days off this week days Wednesday and Thursday. I really got a big chance to take a rest because this weekend I will be working again. Sometimes our schedule are crazy, but I got used to it. It is my work that matters most as long as I got a complete 80 hours in my check I am so happy with it.

THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD WATER

I don't like to wear light and white colored clothes nowadays because of our water supply. Our water is not as good as it was before it is a little bit rusty. That is why every time I washed some of my light and white colored shirt become yellowish or a little bit brown.

Last summer our water pump was broken so my husband change it. They take all the tubes or pipes to check as well if they are still good to use. Some of the tubes and pipes are clog with dirt and that answer our shortage of water supply before. After they check everything, the only part that was needed to change is the water pump it is expensive, but we don't have a choice because it is the only source of our water in the house.

Gladly our water is backed, but sad to say it is not as good as before and my husband don't know the reason. We didn't use our water for drinking and cooking my husband go to his cousin or uncle to get water for it. We didn't trust the water that we have in our house for those uses although we still used it in some of our daily needs.
