ANOTHER WAY OF EXTENDING YOUR GREETINGS FOR SPECIAL OCCASSION

My husband and I are very busy a few weeks ago shopping every week to buy things that we need to put in our gifts because we have a family Christmas party in the house. We can't buy it all at one time so as much as possible every payday we buy something so it is not that hard for our pocket. The gift that we had under our Christmas tree are mostly for the immediate family and some are for our goddaughters we can't afford anymore to buy gifts for our friends because I also need to send some money to my family in the Philippines so that they had something for their Christmas as well.

I just decided to just send a postcard to our friends to great them this time of the year. I believe that it is the thought that counts most not the material things that we receive or give. The essence of giving gifts is great, but unfortunately we can't always do it because of the economic crisis that we are facing. We need to budget the money because if not we will be in big trouble..LOL.

I wish that the simple greetings I write in each postcard bring smile to our friend's faces.

THE TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

We were so busy yesterday preparing for the Christmas party, we always do it in our place. My husband's mom and dad, his two brothers together with their wife and kids are in there and most especially my husband's daughters was present as well. One of my husband's daughter bring a friend to celebrate Christmas with us and I'm glad she did because she enjoys it more and she doesn't get bored, they arrived around ten in the morning.

Everyone's helping each other in making the food for the party. We make plenty cookies as well for the kids and for the feeling kids.....LOL. After a wonderful dinner, we start opening the gift we receive from each other. Everybody had a smile on each other faces it was a nice Christmas indeed.

I do really love this time of the year because it brings family together and who wouldn't love to be with the family it is where we always belong no matter what happens our family where always be there for us.

GENERAL CLEANING

Our house is really dirty because my husband is not yet done on his project in our front porch and it has been two weeks since I clean our house so now it really needs a total cleaning, but before I start my house cleaning my husband and I decided to finish wrapping the gifts first. We do so many dusting because cobwebs are all over the house and my husband sort out all the magazine and papers that are needed to be thrown out in the garbage. It took us two hours to clean the house even though my husband help me.

GOT A BIG CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE FRONT PORCH

When I get home tonight I saw that our front porch are all light up from my way into our drive way there are christmas lights in the window and a big christmas tree in there too I was not expected to have those because I didn't know that we have a big christmas tree. I know I had three little christmas tree in the house and I already put up two of it one is in the family room and one is in the computer room while the other one is still in the box got no chance to finish decorating the house yet because we are so busy this past few weeks.

I was so eager to come inside the house when I see the surprised job my husband made and he didn't notice that I am already home until I kissed him and said"thank you" for the wonderful job he has done in our front porch. Although it is not yet really finish because there are still some things that they needed to do out there, but I can't help myself staring at it because they really look great out in there.

A PAIR OF EARRINGS

In the mall last Sunday I saw some stuff that was on clearance sale and it gets my interest to look through it. There are plenty of bling bling in a jewelry area and there is a cute pair of earrings that captured my eyes because of its unique design and I like them so I buy a two pair of earrings since they are not that expensive. My husband just laughed at me when he saw what I had when we go to the counter and says:"whatever makes you happy my Dear".

HEAVY SNOW

My husband warn me this morning before he goes to work and when he called me during his lunch break to wear something warm tonight because it would be so cold and he is right, but I am so stubborn I didn't really follow all the things he told me to do. When I get out from work it's really, really cold and the snow are blowing into my face and it gets inside my eyes. I was shivering when I reach the car good thing that David warm it up already so it helps a little bit. On our way home you can't really see the road because it is covered with snow and we just follow the trail of the truck that was in front of us. I reached home past one in the morning normally I get thirty minutes earlier, but because of the snow it slows us down.

HOW ELECTRICITY AFFECT OUR DAILY LIVING

We are using electricity every day of our life, mostly all of our appliances in the house is run using the electricity. I can't imagine how it would be like without an electric supply since we are so dependent to it nowadays almost everything really uses electricity there are some which uses battery, but still sometimes we used electricity still to charge those battery.

One time when electricity goes out for more than an hour I can't do anything in the house even cooking because all the equipment in our house are electric operated. Hopefully it won't happen during winter time because it might be too hard for us since we don't have other source of electric supply

A SURPRISE GIFT FROM MY HUSBAND

Every time I got home from work I usually go to the computer room to do my online stuff and to watch my Filipino shows or movies and tonight when I sit in front of my computer to watch my Filipino shows I jump out in my chair because the speaker was so loud it scares the crap out of me....LOL... I wasn't expected to have a new speaker for my computer my old speaker doesn't work well even though I turn up the volume too high, but still it won't be that loud.

My husband really likes to surprise me all the time and he told me that since he had a little extra money from his salary so he decided to buy a new speaker for my computer in the store in our town on his way home from visiting his parents.

MY NEW COMPUTER CHAIR

My husband tease me that now I will not be using a pillow under my chair when I used the computer because I have a very nice and comfortable chair now for my computer. I am so happy when he told me that I can buy a computer chair that day when we went to shopping. It really helps me a lot to have a comfortable chair when I chat with my family for hours of talking with them and doing all my stuff online without thinking about my sore butt anymore...LOL.
