OUT WITH MY BIKE

I was out with my bike today to go downtown to look for that employment agency that my husband's friend told him that was in there; I was driving around the area that my husband told me where it should be, unfortunately I cannot find it I read already all the sign, but no employment agency who hired people in there.

It was my first time driving my bike on the main road and it is so scary, but I am glad I do it; now I already conquer my fear on that side. It is fun to drive out there and the weather is so good too.

PICKING POTATO BUGS

After I am done talking with my family, I go out in the yard and check out our garden. The plants are growing well since it rains these fast few days unfortunately my potatoes got plenty of potato bugs and eggs even though we sprayed insecticides on it already does not help to stop them multiplying.

I decided to pick them up and put them in an empty bottle; takes me couple of hours to get most of it and the container where I put the bugs and its eggs are almost half I do include the leaves also where they lay their eggs.

It felt so great to look a clean beautiful healthy looking garden cannot wait to see them having some fruits.

DEBT SOLUTION

My husband work five days a week to support our daily needs and to pay our monthly bills, but still we are struggling to manage all our expenses, I feel helpless sometimes because I cannot help him at the moment. I have been looking to get a job this past few months, but I am not so lucky to find one. ANOTHER TROPHY

Jeff wanted me to come with him today for a car show again in the next town from us, but I cannot because it is my day for church I just told him that I will be going to ask my friend to drive me there after we attend mass.

Every Sunday my other two Filipino friends and I go to church to spend an hour with GOD after church, my friend who gives me a ride and tells me that she needs to pick up her husband too on the way because he wants to go there also to see the car show and buy something for there garden.

We got there twenty minutes before they were going to announce the winners; I saw my husband talking with some of his friends and relatives in there, after exchanging hi and hello to them I excuse myself to go in the shady side because it is so hot and I do not need to be so tan I am so dark already from last week trip do not need it anymore because I want people to see me during nighttime....LOL... (just kidding).

I did not notice that they already announce the winner and when I saw my husband holding some trophy I wonder if he won and so my friend tells me that he won 2ND prize in the car show; I think that is awesome to win two in a row, and I know how it would make him so happy.

FATHER'S DAY

We spend time today with the whole family of my husband to celebrate Father's Day, we held it in his brother's house because in there town they have a yearly parade in there for this special event. After watching the parade we go directly to his brother's house help preparing and cooking food and I do bring one of our Filipino dish for them to try.

Everybody showed up even my husbands two daughters come to greet and see their father. One of the center of the occasion is the new baby in the family that was only a month old everyone wants to carry her because she is so cute.
We go home almost nine in the evening does not notice the time because we all have a great time.

The food was great also and even my Filipino dish is all gone they all like it and my husband's brother ask me how to do it because one of his son like it and he is so picky when it comes to food sure do like it a lot.

CAR SHOW

It is another year we need to go for about a two and a half hour ride for our dune buggy just to be in the car show, they feature all kinds of Volkswagen cars in there; the program sponsor an organization for some kids; it was a lot of fun to be there, but at the same time it is so hot too.

Before the day come for car show, my husband does some additional thing for his favorite toy the dune buggy, he was so excited for it and so his parents and uncle who have their own buggies too. All the participants for the car show were going to vote for the best 25 cars; they have their own sheets of paper where they are going to put there vote and also the committee for that show will be going to do there voting too; at the end of the day they will be going to reveal the winner.

All the participants in that show was so curious to know who will be the big winners and at the same time they hope to win also; though there is no big prizes in there, but still they are so eager to know, it is an honor for them to even get a plaque or a trophy back home.

Luckily my husband was one of the winner and what a smile he got in his face when he got his plaque; all his hard work he puts to his buggy paid off and I am happy for him as well too.
