ALYSHIA IS COMING HOME

I made egg roll again and take out some pork in the fridge so that I can cook it in the afternoon. When my husband got home after his work he said he likes the smell of the house makes him hungry......LOL....our house smells like food.

I didn't expect Alyshia showed up with flowers and birthday card for me she is really nice and sweet. She put soy sauce in her rice too just like me and while were eating her father tells some of his youthful adventures. So nice to see a daughter and father conversation makes me wonder how it felt like because I never had one, but it's OK that was only a part of my past now and God give me another family that loved me.

Alyshia stayed for couple of hours just to have a bonding with her dad. I am happy to see them together especially when I see a very big smile on my husbands face because one of his angels visited him.

THE MASK OF ZORRO(PINOY VERSION)

The Mask of Zorro already made a record and I do not know for sure how many Hollywood stars portrayed the rules and made it blockbuster.

I know Antonio Banderas do the Zorro also because I saw it and as far as I remember it was one of the most unforgettable movie I ever saw. He is unique from other superhero I have seen because he does not have superpowers he only uses his ability and knowledge about things on fighting the crimes.

One of the big television network in our country purchase Mask of ZORRO to make a Filipino adaptation of it. This is a big challenge to the whole people who work on this project to show the viewers how they are going to put a Pinoy sentiment, pride and touch to it.

Finding the exact location and props is not easy since it is an old fashioned kind of movie. Imagine how it looked like 1900 years ago. Richard Gutierrez is one of the biggest name in the Philippine's showbiz industry in his time, he already made plenty of hit movies and TV series. Now he has a new big responsibility to show the people that he is worthy to be a Pinoy Zorro.

I saw the first three episode of it today and it is a very interesting TV series; never seen like this before so unique and very intriguing and full of mystery. It would be another series that I would keep on watching in my favorite Pinoy site.

I HAVE COLDS

I wake up early this morning not feeling well, sniffling, sneezing and got watery eyes. I hate it when I got colds, I need to use my mouth to breathe easily and my head is aching. Wherever I go I need to bring tissue paper to wipe my nose because liquid just come out in there and when I blow it.

When my father-in-law comes in the afternoon to bring the newspaper he asks me if I take medicine already and my mother-in-law calls me too checking out how am I doing? They always remind me not to go out without a jacket on, they felt so bad for me having colds.

Even though I am not feeling well it doesn't stop me to do my household chores and I cook my favorite bone pork soup and in the afternoon when my husband comes home I cook his food and prepare the table for him though it is not every day I do it, but I try my best to do little things for him. I know he is tired from working ten hours a day it is not easy I have been doing that before when I was still working too.

THE OUTER SPACE

Early this morning when I was helping my husband preparing food for his lunch I saw a news about this guy who paid another millions of dollar just to go again with the scientist in the outer space. Makes me wonder why he does it again for the second time is he not satisfied in his first travel or if it is really beautiful out there to worth that much?

From my little knowledge I have from school, outer space is a region in the universe outside the atmosphere where you can find the planets, stars, moon, asteroids, meteors, galaxy, black hole and who knows what else is in there.
The government in the United States had an agency called NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) they are responsible for science and technology related to air and space. It was created to oversee U.S. space exploration and aeronautics research.

Person's hunger for knowledge lead him to seek beyond what was just being told and written in the book, it is a very normal attitude of a man to find answers in all his doubts and questions lying beneath his mind since he has the resources he will go for it to accomplish whatever he wants to get.

TAKEN (NICE MOVIE)

We supposed to go out tonight together with my husband's cousin and his wife to watch a play in school, but I was so lazy to go out we ended up watching a movie in our house called "Taken" it is a very nice movie. I didn't get bored watching it, it is full of action and show how a big bad organization not punished and continue making bad things because of the protections they have from the highest official from the government.

LIAM NEESON played so well in his rule, he is a father and an agent. It is like watching another RAMBO in this movie because he fights the fearsome organization by himself, his mission is to find his daughter and get her back from the organization no matter what it takes. The fight scenes was good I enjoy watching it and I was so noisy it excites me so much. My husband and his cousin just laughed at me because of it.

BABYSITTING

I was babysitting today with my husband's nephew because his parents attend a funeral for their uncle. My husband can't attend because he needs to work overtime today in spite of the crisis that mostly company facing at the point.

In our breakfast we eat spaghetti and he likes it, he said it is his first time to eat spaghetti and he finished one bowl. After breakfast, we went for a walk even though it is snowing a little bit and he likes it, we left a track of his foot in the snow, it is fun. We run and walk and chase each other. We are not out for long because it is cold especially when the wind blows and we live near the lake. Inside the house if his tired watching the cartoon show or movie we play games, his parents make sure to send some games with him so he will not get bored.

He is such a kid full of energy. He really love to play with our cats and he wanted to pet them so bad as if they were like a baby. During lunchtime I make him some popcorn shrimp and corn dog and make myself a rice and a pork soup that I love so well. It is a fun day to have him the whole day today though it is my birthday too.

I got presents from my friends and my new family especially from my loving husband. I do not know yet where we will be going for tonight he doesn't tell me yet.

BEAUTIFUL SOURROUNDING

I was just playing in the PC browsing some Website and then I found this picture that catches my attention. I really, really like the view of it ....wish I live in this place so beautiful, quite and the surrounding is so colorful I can imagine how relaxed I would be and my husband after long days of work.

A beautiful environment's like this is worth saving for, let us preserved mother nature for the next generation.

MAKING A MESS IN THE KITCHEN

We supposed to attend a party today, but we can't because we do have plenty of things to do first and my husband work yesterday and for the whole week this week. He will be working ten hours a day and he wanted to take rest so I decided not to come to the birthday party for the son of another Filipino.

I decided make sugar cookies and a corn meal buns for him to bring to work for his lunch break instead. The first time I make my sugar cookies he asks me if they meet an accident because the shape of it doesn't look good.....LOL...well only for the first batch, but for the rest of it is fine. It was tough doing two things at the same time, cutting the cookie dough and watching the oven afraid my cookies might be burned, don't want my husband to eat another burn offerings...LOL...he eats plenty of that already.

After I am done with my sugar cookies, my corn meal buns are already ready to be kneed, after I kneed it I shape them into little buns then cook them in the oven. My husband stomach would be so happy bringing all this treats at work and enjoy eating them.

WONDERFUL DAY IN WINTER TIME

My husband work half day today and he told me that he will be home more than an hour after that because he needs to pick up a load of woods from there for us to use in our wood stove to keep us warm during winter.

When he gets home we just eat some donuts for lunch and get our butts out to start cutting the woods he brings home and stock them. My father-in-law come over to sharpen his chain saw and saw me working without wearing a jacket and thought I am crazy wearing my normal T- shirt in the cold days knowing that this is my first time to experience this kind of weather knowing I came from a very hot place and I just laugh and said that it feels so good.

I was singing and teasing my husband so that he will not feel tired while I stock the woods and he was cutting them. He just laugh and said that I still act like a kid.

When my brother-in-law come over together with his son and wife he took over my place stocking woods and send me inside the house so I decided to make them a good Filipino food for dinner...LOL...anyway I am starting to learn how to cook since I got here unlike before that I cannot make my own meal without my mom and brother preparing them for me. After eating dinner, we watch movie and have a little family bonding in the living room, my mother-in-law said I should not do it again working outside without wearing winter clothes or else I get sick.

I am so glad to be a part of this family they treat me well as if I am their own child they are all so good to me. It was a very wonderful day indeed.

CHARICE PEMPENGCO is one of the most popular name in showbiz in our country (PHILIPPINES) because of her sensational voice, not only in my country she was also featured in different countries like London, Korea, USA and many more.
David Foster and Oprah Winfrey is one of the biggest name in the showbiz industry who helped her to achieved all this success she has now. She's been in Oscar awards, red carpet and many.

She already meet all her idols in the industry and sing together with them like Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Gorban, Alicia Keys, Michael Buble and many more.
At the age of 16 now she is very successful in her career and continue pursuing her dreams. She made her very first album already.

GO girl we are proud of you and very glad that you are proud to be a Filipino as well. Keep up the good work and never forget those people who helped you reach where you are now.

POOR WHISPER

My husband put away all the dishes after they get dry while I was waiting for him to finished putting them in the cabinet I did not realize that the cat was behind us sleeping in the floor when I move backward to give space for my husband I accidentally step on WHISPER and he screams so loud and quickly get out in the kitchen as if he was hit by a lightning.

I feel bad about it because I know it does really hurt so I go after him and carry him and comb his hair to pamper him, he likes it a lot makes him feel so loved...LOL....will we do love our cats and we pamper them since we do not have kids. They are really a spoiled cats my husband treat them well and always sees to it that all their needs will be given to them.

THE GIRL WITH RED HAIR

Last night when we watched American Idol it is Allison Iraheta who shine most for me. Her get up, her vocal and the performance was so cool doesn't make me bored watching her. I agree with what the judges said that age doesn't matter in the competition since you have the confidence and the attitude to be in that stage doing your best.

If she continues doing what she is doing for the next future rounds she would be one best candidate winning for this season; in spite of her age. Though I did not see her much in the first few episodes of the show she still managed to accomplish and continue surprises the viewers and the judges by her performance. Keep it up girl I am one of your thousand followers.

PHILIPPINES MASTER RAPPER

He was known as the "Master Rapper in the Philippines" he is FRANCIS MAGALONA. He died several days ago at the age of 44 because of leukemia. He's been through chemotherapy and a lot of treatment; also he had scheduled a peripheral blood stem cell transplant this month.

When I was a kid I love to sing one of his song "MGA KABABAYAN KO" the tune was so lively and the lyrics was so realistic, talking about being a true blooded Filipino not only by the color of the skin, but by the spirit and mind.
Aside from singing he is also an actor, composer, designer, photographer and a good host in a noon time show called "EAT BULAGA".

He has eight kids with his wife and he had a daughter that is an actor and a model too. For his family he is a good son, father and provider he could be strict sometimes, but they know that it is for their own well too.

We will miss you KIKO...may you find peace and solace wherever you are now.

NO INTERNET CONNECTION

I felt bored the whole day today because I don't have an Internet connection started yesterday. My husband thought that maybe there is a problem in their main connection so he will just call them when he gets home from work today.

In the afternoon when he comes home he calls the cable company twice where we get our Internet connection and they told us to wait for a while because there is no technician available at that time that will answer about our problem. After an hour waiting, we got a call from them and he talked with the technician for a while. When his done talking with the technician my husband told me that he felt ashamed because the problem is in the modem only he forgot to check out the upper button of it.

I just laugh at him for admitting his mistakes and told him that maybe he does it on purpose....LOL...anyway I am glad our Internet connection is back.

BIG SACRIFICED

I just finished talking to the wife of my cousin who just arrived last night. They are living in NEW ORLEANS at the moment. She said she is happy to be here because her husband is here, but at the same time she is sad because their daughter was left in the PHILIPPINES.

It is a very tough decision and big sacrificed they made just to give a bright future for their family. For now all they need to do is to earn money to start a good life here and maybe a couple of years after they will be going home and get their baby.

She will have plenty of adjustments to make in her new life now. The environment and the weather is way different from where she came from. I know she can make it because my cousin will always be with her to get through this stage.

Go girl just relaxed your mind you know that your baby is in good hands with the kind of family we had you know you can trust them.

TATIANA DEL TORO(DRAMA QUEEN)

Two nights ago when they called Tatiana's name as one of the wild cards in American idol I felt completely shocked because there are more talented contestants than her....LOL (peace)....what do the people behind these shows thinking and what they are trying to make a circus....oh my God!... though she is not that bad at all it's just that she is so annoying, every time she got a chance she always cried and acted so weird.

She is just another pretty face, but not much talent to stay in that show. Good thing that they get rid of her last night do not think she will do well in the competition. Every time she comes out in the stage people already know what will happen

WILD CARD SUCKS

Last week in American idol one of my bet was being eliminated from it and I hoped that last night when they called for the wild cards he would be one of them, but sad to say he is not. Don't know what the producers and judges think to put back and give a second chance to those contestants which are not worthy for the spot most especially Tatiana.

Kai Kalama is a 26 year old musician from San Clemente, California in spite of his rugged look he had a very warm and fine heart to put his life on hold just to take care of his mom. His mom is suffering from seizures not all son can do that....and for me his such an idol not just of what his done, but because he had a talent. He had a very beautiful voice too and he can perform as well.

People like him should be on those spot. Go KAI pursue your dreams and show them that they are wrong. You are a very talented man.

GO!!!!SCOTT

Tonight is the night when they are going to get another three finalist for the top 12 some of my bet was on, but others are not and I am glad that SCOTT MC INTYRE is one of the top 12. He is one of my bet will he may not be the best, but for me he is. I do not know why every time his on the stage and when he starts singing I feel something in his music I feel the soul of his music.
I watch every episode of the American idol so I saw how he strives harder to be in these competitions even though his blind.

In his audition his brother brings him there he is he's eyes, he showed to the judges that even though his blind it is not a hindrance to stop him in doing what he loves to do and that is singing.

I love his performance in the Hollywood week when he was playing with the piano while singing, he was so good on what his doing and show the world that he can do something in his life.

Well I know he still needs plenty of things to do to prove himself in the competition and it would be tough for him to do it because he cannot perform well ...though he had a voice, but it's not everything.

For me whatever happen in this competition he will always be one of the most unforgettable contestant's in AMERICAN IDOL.

DAY WITH ASHLEY

My husband told me that after his work today his daughter Ashley will be coming to our house today. She goes to school at the city and when she is home she is so very busy with her school project and when she calls her father saying that she will be visiting him, he is so happy and excited because he misses her a lot.

I cook Filipino food for her to try and it is the only food I know how to cook...LOL...she arrived together with my father and mother-in-law.

When I prepare the table for us to eat I was a little bit nervous wondering if Ashley would eat the food I cook. I am glad that all of them like the food and my mother-in-law break her diet and eat a lot too...LOL....

I was so happy to see a big smile in my husband's face; he is always in his daughter's side all the time she was over. It was a wonderful day indeed.

BAPTISM

Today we attend to one of the Filipino's baby baptism. In Catholic church baptism is one of the Seven sacrament that we all go through. It is usually given when you are still a baby.

The sacrament of baptism is one of the most wonderful thing that ever happen in someone's life in my religion it means more than being sprinkled with water on one's head and receiving a Christian name.

Through baptism we erased all the traces of the original sin that we inherited from Adam and Eve from disobeying GOD. It gives a person new life through Jesus, it brings the person back to GOD, but there is one thing baptism doesn't change that is the physical body of the person and its worldly inclinations toward sin, the body continues to be weak in nature desiring to commit sin because of that there is a constant spiritual and worldly battle within the person.

Through the sacrament of baptism in the name of the blessed trinity, the Christian has become a new creation, he becomes pure in the GOD's eye he has become suitable as a Temple of the Holy Spirit for GOD to dwell within him as a Christian.
