DRIVE THRU IN MC DONALD

After we have done shopping today, I felt so hungry so I asked my husband to buy me a burger and a fries for me to eat, so he told his cousin to go to a drive through in MC Donald since we are in a hurry to go home.

Good thing that they have it, it makes easier for the customer to get some food directly instead of going out in a car especially during winter with a cold weather.

Whoever think of this kind of strategy is so brilliant he/she knows how to give another excellent service to all the customer by having them another option in taking their order especially when you are in a hurry.

I was impressed doesn't take that long to get our food for less than five minutes my food was in front of me already.

PROSTITUTION

I open the computer in my favorite Website in which I can watch my TV shows from my country, there is one documentary episode in there that gets my interest. The documentary show is about prostitution; they gather some evidence and talk to people working for it.

The girls working in there are so young ...oh my GOD ...18 year old below; I feel pity for them at young age they are being exploited to this kind of job to help their family.

Poverty is what they usually said is the reason for doing it. The worst thing is that their parents are the one looking for their customer or a place where they can work....for Christ sake...wonder how they take it, they should be the one protecting their child instead of exploiting them.....where are your conscience!.

Prostitution are all over the world; even rich country have this kind of problem and issues, some country made it legal for the protection of the prostitutes, but mostly not. No one wants to become a prostitute, it's just that they think it is the only way they have to escape the poverty or whatever issue they have for themselves or simply they are lazy and wants the easy way to gain money.

It is so easy to point fingers; telling that it is the government or its systems fault, but it is not the only problem they need to face, people who are in this job or going to do this job must think first and help themselves; there are plenty of wonderful things to look forward to in your life it may not that easy to achieve, but it will come for sure. Put your heart into your dreams and make actions to reach it.

IT IS NOT A GARBAGE!!!!!

My in laws always brought empty pop cans into our house for me to crash, I am into recycling them. Every day they have been drinking pop or soda minimum of three cans and even my husband. We do gather them and set them aside so that someday we can sell them in a recycling center.

Others might think that saving it is not that important it doesn't sell that much and it is a garbage for them. Think of it this way it could be a garbage, but once you save them it will give you money back it may take time, but it will save you more and our environment.

There are plenty of things we can do out of our garbage it doesn't mean garbage is garbage we can still reuse them in a much healthier way if we think productively.
Think and be creative that is why GOD give us brain, be resourceful and help save our environment for the next generation.

THE BAD GIRLS CLUB

As I open the TV to watch some shows while doing my latch hook rug, the station was tune in oxygen channel and the show that was on is called the "BAD GIRLS CLUB". It is not my plan to watch it, but I was intrigue about the show.
It is about the seven girls with different attitudes come from different places in USA brought together to live in one house or I might say a beautiful mansion..LOL...wish it is mine...hahahaha...anyway all of them had a goal to be the winner in this show.

They always go to bars eating and drinking, meeting guys, have the fun they want and go party, but they have also challenges to do. I like it when they are mad they were so mean and said bad words to one another and sometimes so violent; screaming, throwing things they are really bad.....LOL....not good for the children to watch, but they are fun to watch too even though they are so bold ....LOL...well they had beautiful and sexy body to show for the viewers and they are not afraid to do nasty things.

Now I am into watching it to see who will be the worst of them all.

DENTIST DAY

I had an appointment this afternoon to see my dentist she was so nice and pretty and very interesting about my culture the first time I meet her. She asked me many questions and I love talking with her.

My husband is the one who is going to bring me in the dentist because his out that time from work. We waited there for a while before they call me.

I told my dentist that I feel something weird in my other teeth where they put some fillings last time. Every time I drink something cold or hot and chew in that side I got some reaction that I cannot explain and so she inspects my gums and my teeth x-ray to check if there is something, but she found nothing everything seems OK, she said well going to wait for another month to let my teeth settle down from all those drilling's they made in my teeth ...LOL. OK maybe my teeth still in shocked from all those things they made because it is the first time I made those....LOL....anyway I had such a great time with her as usual she is always been so nice to me.

When we got out in there my husband and I laugh at each other because we are now both shining ....LOL...his is his bald head, and mine are my clean teeth.

BIRTHDAYS

We are going to celebrate four birthdays today mom and dad come to the house early to prepare foods and I helped her cook some of it and I made my own Filipino dish too for everyone to try.

Jeff brother's together with their family start arriving around one in the afternoon they bring gifts and cake for the celebrants.
It felt so good looking at them when they start opening their gifts and reading their cards they got a big smile on their faces.

The smallest one Jared enjoyed playing with his new toys it is so noisy, but it is fun. Everybody had a great time especially that Justin showed up, his been away for long time just now his home so everybody misses him and it is the first time I saw him too.

Now I already know all the member of my husband family not as big as my family, but they are fun to be with. They are simple people, but loving I am glad to be a part of their family.

BONDING TIME

My husband wakes up so early today to get some more scrap woods and to cook our breakfast. Then, we go to the bank to get some money so that we can send to my family because his worried about them and he starts teasing me that I already get fat while my family is thin ...LOL.

After sending money, we just go home to get the sketch to go to his co-workers place to check some materials that he needed to build a garage, unfortunately we didn't find the place and so we just decided to drive around and go malling.

We buy some gifts and cards for his father and nephews because tomorrow we are having a party in our house for them celebrating there birthdays. It would be another gathering and maybe I am going to meet his other nephew that was just got home from working in other place. We spend plenty of time in the mall arguing what to buy....LOL.....it was such a great day going out with someone whom you love.

ANOTHER BUSY DAY

I wake up early this morning to help my husband prepared his food that his going to bring to his lunch break. It has been three days since I did not do it because I always feel so tired and sleepy.

After he left to work, I start my daily routine so that I could do some of the things that I needed to finish like my latch hook rug so that I can do my cross stitch.

He works seven hours for today so he gets home early and we drive in the factory near our place to get a scrap woods and to mail our bills to the post office then go to the bank.

Afterwards we go directly to his friend's place, but his friend is not home. I asked my husband to stop in the rose garden store on our way home because I wanted to look what they have inside.

They already started growing their plants and they have plenty of stuff aside from plants that I like most. I got ideas already on what I am going to do in our greenhouse I am very excited to start with it soon.

LIGHTING THE ICE CASTLE

It is so cold that afternoon when mom and dad get me in our house to witness the lighting of ice castle in our town.

Not too many people when we arrive there I love the color combination of the light they put in the ice castle, so nice to look.

Mom and dad are laughing at me they said I am like a kid ....LOL...I enjoy taking picture with it even though it is so cold out. I had such a great day with my in laws, it is another experience that I will cherished in my life.

MY LATE VALENTINES GIFT

I was with my mother and father-in-law today helping them served in the senior center in our town.

My husband just picked me up in mom and dad's place to go home. We stayed there for a while because Jeff needs to fix their video cam recorder too because it is not working well, his brother's together with their wife and kids are in my in-laws place too so I got chance to play with them for a short while.

When we got home I go directly to the kitchen to get something to drink and I never expected that there are some gifts waiting for me in there. It is a late valentines gift my husband said....LOL...since it arrived late. I am so happy to see it because it is my favorite.

MY SAVIOR

As I checked our outside wood stove this afternoon the temperature is so low and it is not good, I forgot to put wood in there so I called my father-in-law to helped me fix it before my husband comes home in less than twenty minutes.

After I call my father-in-law he arrived and fix it and decided change our water filter too. He is the best Dad I ever had because grown up without a father ...LOL.....because when I was five years old my parents got separated and I never saw my father after that until I turned 22 year old and unfortunately he is already inside the coffin and no time for us to know each other anymore.

Ever since I arrived in USA my mom and dad (in laws) always there for me whenever I needed them the best way they can. Sometimes my husband feel jealous about it because he thinks his parents love me more....LOL...I was so fortunate to have them in my life.

WHAT A RESULT

Early in the morning my mother and father-in-law bring me to the clinic in our town to let them check my skin test result that I got last Friday. When the nurses checked it, they told me to wait for their medical doctor because I got a reaction from it.

The doctor arrived noon and then they sent me to one of the cubicles where my doctor is waiting for me. She measured the red spot on my skin and asked if I have been exposed to a patient of tuberculosis, I tell her that my brother have it. Then, she reviewed all my medical report and chest x-ray that I have with me, she said that everything is clear and probably I got a reaction because I was exposed to it. She told me that the final decision would be from my immigration officer if I needed more test.

When my husband knows about the result he said he rather wants me undergo some test to make sure that I am not infected, don't need to argue with it because he only wants me to stay healthy.

WHAT A DATE

My husband together with his cousin and a friend decided to get some wood pallets from his cousin's workplace while waiting for them I decided to clean the house and my husband do his latch hook rug.

They arrive around one in the afternoon together with their wives and we go directly to his cousin's workplace. Jeff cousin had his own key in there since he is the supervisor and tour us around his workplace and explain us some details on how they do things.

After hauling all the damage wood pallets, we go home. The girls decided to cook food for the guys and a food for girls since they don't like our Filipino stinky food...LOL...after dinner we watch movies in the living room while having some chips.

It was a nice day indeed bonding with our friends.

VALENTINES DAY

The Filipina had a date today we all decided to go to our town because they have bingo games. Our husband was left in our house because they don't want to go with us and play, they have other things they want to do together.

Not much people yet when we arrived at the bingo hall we got a chance to find a seat. We need to pay a quarter for each card game we want to play some of us win, but not me..... LOL....we have been there from ten in the morning until five in the afternoon. We didn't feel hungry at all while we were playing and we didn't notice the time.

The time we got home my husband had a gift for me waiting I wasn't expecting it because we do shopping already for me yesterday, they also ordered pizza for supper instead of going out for a date.

It is such nice day indeed I will never forget it because this is the first valentines day that I ever felt so loved by someone.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL.

A DAY IN A CLINIC

I wake up early today to go to the hospital for my appointment to see a registered civil surgeon for my immunization for my papers in immigration. I don't like in going there because I know they are going to give me some shots of vaccines and they are going to get some blood too and I hate needles.

The doctor and the nurses who were attending my needs are so nice I got two vaccine shot and it makes my arms feel weird. The other nurses who get my blood tried three times before she gets enough blood out of me they felt sorry about it after because I end up with so many band aid in my arms.

After all those things that I've been through in the hospital, my husband treats me to go to the city directly to buy me a Filipino food that I love for a change......LOL.....and he shop some gift for me too, it was so nice of him to do such thing.

HARD TIMES

This morning when I open my yahoo messenger I chatted with one of my co-worker from the electronic company where I was working before I came to Wisconsin she told me that they are facing hard times.

The company lays off some of the workers especially agency employee that was hired in that company and cutting of working hours and days. They were being told that if the company will not recover from the crisis that they are facing at the moment within six months they are going to file bankruptcy.

I can feel their fear about it, if that is going to happen it is the worst thing because if they lost their jobs it means no food on the table for them especially if you are the bread winner in the family, unlike here in USA people can still collect money from the government for unemployment if ever, whereas in my country they do not get anything and they need to work to support their families and nowhere to go to.

Some people commit crimes because of poverty, they think doing bad thing is the only option they have just to survive and support their family. Hoping we can surpass this crisis.

KARAOKE TIME

The country where I came from (PHILIPPINES) is known as the place of happy people even though we are one of the poorest country, but still we managed to take everything easy.
We do not let problems be a hindrance to our happiness.

In every occasion singing is always there they do not mind if they had a voice or not what matters to them are that they enjoy what they are doing. It makes the occasion more lively and jolly.

MY HUSBAND'S FAVORITE FILIPINO FOOD

We got home a little bit late tonight, for supper my husband asks me to cook lumpia for him it is one of his favorite Filipino food. I like to dipped it with mix ketchup and mayonnaise together with rice and he eats it plain with rice.
One thing about lumpia is that you can freeze them and cook it whenever you want, it is easy to make, but it takes time to make them into rolls.

I enjoy making them and time is not a problem to me because I was just at home usually. All the hard work I put into making lumpia rolls is worth it because my husband love it a lot.

When I get married I do not know anything about cooking, but I am glad that I got people around me willing to teach. Now I am learning and love cooking.

SWEET SMIDGEN

I was watching a movie with a blanket to keep me warm then, come Smidgen wanted to sleep on my lap. Every time when my husband and I are at the living room watching movie or whatever we are doing she always comes to us wanting a little attention from both of us.

One thing I do not really like with her is that when she starts rubbing her head on my chin or in my face that she loves to do and you can hear her loud fur. It takes time for her to settle down and when she does that it is fine with me. She is the sweetest cat I ever had.

JARED'S SCHOOL PRESENTATION

My mother-in-law asks me if I will come with them to watched Jared kindergarten presentation, he is my husband's nephew.

When we arrived in Jared classroom that morning he was sitting in this cute little chair together with other kids. The parents and relatives of the kids was in there to give support to them.

They are going to show us what they learn and do for their 100 days in school. The kids sing, count by 1-100, count by 10-100, determine colors and more.

heir teacher is so supportive to the kids and all smiles throughout the presentation and the parents are so proud watching their child improving their knowledge. It was a fun day to be with the kids.

BONFIRE

It is such a busy day today in the morning my husband gets a load of scrap woods again in the factory near our house and in the afternoon we have been to our friend's place because we plan to go together for shopping.

When we got home in the evening my husband's cousin and brother together with their wife are in our house too. The guys decided to go out for bonfire, his cousin brings plenty of wood pallets from his work to give to us and some of it they used in bonfire.

The girls just stay inside the house because it is so cold out and watch movies while chatting. The guys stayed there for three hours and always asked us to join them, but we won't because we want to have our own girl bonding moment.

ICE CASTLE

My mother-in-law and I go for a walk to their apartment after serving in the senior center. On our way to the apartment there are people building ice castle near the big building. It was so beautiful and neat to look at especially when the sun shines on it, it looks like crystal. I ask mom to pose for me in the ice castle, and she had fun doing it pretending that it is her castle...LOL...

The big block of ice they used to build it came from the frozen lake, they want to finish the ice castle before winter carnival. Though it is not yet finished, the construction is really amazing and I cannot wait to see them when it is done.

Another event for me to look forward to in the few days.

MY WORKAHOLIC HUSBAND

When my husband got home he just relaxed for a while then asks me to come with him to go to the factory near our place so that we can check if there is some scrap wood that was filed outside for us to get.

We are using outside wood stove to heat our house. Since we didn't cut much wood this year because he did not find a place to cut, we have to fine some place where we can get scrap woods like what we are going to get today.

It is a lot of work, we need to load the wood in the truck then, haul it to the house and unload it and cut them and stock them....to the max .......so tiring, but no choice we need to do it because if not we are going to freeze our butt to death.....LOL.

Though it is a hard worked, but still we got a chance to have a supply of wood for our wood stove and it is another way of bonding...LOL. No matter how tiring it is when we do it together we still have fun.

DAY WITH MY IN-LAWS

I did not go back to sleep after my husband left to work, I need to cook fried rice to bring in the senior center today because my mother-in-law love it.

I help served in the center every time my in-laws serve there. It's fun to be there I got the chance to be with the old people that are so nice and kind and we do plenty of things in there, like decorating their bulletin board, watching movies and playing games.

This day I learned how to play domino my father-in-law set besides me to coach me which chip I should deal. It was such a fun day indeed with my mom and dad.

ICE FISHING

The weather is so nice that day so my husband together with his friend and his wife drive us to show me the frozen lake, but when I was in the lake I feel the cool breeze when the wind blows.

I saw plenty of little houses in there and these two guys with fishing rods catches my eyes because of my curiosity I asked my friend to come closer to check out what the two guys been up to.

They were sitting in the chair so comfortable talking with each other having fun with the fishing rods in their hands while waiting for the fish to take their bait and then we bother them asking questions, but instead they answer us politely and show us the things they needed and uses for ice fishing, they are so friendly and asks us questions back and we gladly answer them all.

MY 3 CATS

In the house I had a three cats named Smidgen she is sweet with black and white hair, Bruiser he is a spoiled cat and got black hair, and Whisper the quite cat with a gray colored hair.

They are my companion whenever my husband goes to work, they do so many things that make me angry sometimes, but it doesn't last long because they always come to me whenever I sit or sleep in the couch and gives me their sweetest look that I couldn't resist.

I always comb Smidgen and Whisper's hair, but not Bruiser because he had long hair and I can't hold him that long enough because he doesn't like me to comb his hair. It is my husband who always BRUSH his hair and I feel pity every time he screamed because it hurt him.

When my husband and I watch movie they will come with us always and cuddle, they are like babies who always wants our attention.

SNOW ANGEL

Everywhere I look all I can see in my surrounding is white, it is winter already and snow is all over the corner. One thing that I look forward to when I was still in the Philippines and I feel so lucky to have a chance to experience it; never thought this time would come for me.

My husband told me things that I can make during this time of the year. Since I love angels the first thing I want to make is a Snow Angel, but I have to wait first for the snow to get a few inches thick before I can make one and when it comes I can't wait to go out and make my very own Snow Angel.
