I'M BACK IN GOING TO CHURCH

Finally I got the chance to go to church and attend the mass. It has been a long time since I last visited a church because my husband was so busy about everything that he can't drive me to attend a mass. Luckily last Monday I passed my road test and got my temporary driver's license and I promise to myself that whenever I don't have to work on Sunday I will do my best not to missed a mass anymore and hopefully I am able to do it.

There are so many blessings I received in my life and going to HIS home is not enough to show how grateful I am. God is always so kind to me and to my whole family though we have our rough times in life, but he never failed to give me strength and continue my fight in life. So thankful for everything because all those pains that I have gone through just prepared me. I know I still have a long ways to go and there will be a lot of bumps on the way, but I know at the end of the day I have one GOD who will never leave me.

UNEXPECTED RESULT

It was such a snowy day to go take my road test for my drivers license. The road is covered with snow that it makes my driving experience so tough. My husband don't allow me to drive before if it is snowing so this is my first to do it. On our way to DMV we have a little arguments because I tend to forget all the tips he told me about driving during snow time. Fortunately we reached our destination safe with few misunderstanding...LOL.

After I fill up all the papers needed before I got my road test I make sure I go to the bathroom first so I won't pee on my pants. Before the examiner ride in the car she asks me to perform some things to her making sure that my car is in good condition and functioning properly. Afterwards, she ride with me and give me instructions where to go and she's grading me on how I perform it. That was one of the longest short ride I ever made with all my nerves shuffling around because I'm really not sure of how to do some of the things she asked me to made because my husband don't have time to practice my driving.

I'm not sure how I do it but gladly I passed my road test but, before she left me with a good news she told me the mistakes I have made and give me ideas on how to do it. Although I was there physically with her but, my mind and heart is not with her, I really don't know what I feel and think that time I am just so happy that I am finally over with it.

I am just so glad that my husband take off a day from his work so I can share the feelings with him. His the one more nervous than me about the whole thing that he almost cancel my appointment, but I insisted to leave it the way it is. God was so good because HE guided me in everything I did yesterday most especially with that kind of weather.

GINGER TEA HELPS ME

I have been very busy this past few days from working with my two jobs not much time anymore to relax. Anyway I promised in my last post that if ever my ginger tea will work on my cough problem I will going to write about it. Gladly I have a positive result drinking ginger tea my cough mellowed down, the only thing I don't like about drinking the tea is that I always go to the bathroom to pee, but other than that it works good for me.

GINGER TEA

I have been coughing for a while now and my husband wanted me to go and see a doctor, but I didn't do anything about it. This morning after my mom and dad drop me off to my work I asked them to buy me a ginger since they are going to the grocery store so I can make a ginger tea when I get home.

The ginger tea I am drinking at the moment had a calming effect on my throat and it did really help I didn't know for sure why I didn't do it sooner, I am such a masochist that I am punishing myself to suffer this long...LOL. Hoping this ginger tea will do good for me so my husband won't pursue me into seeing a doctor.

If by chance my ginger tea will work I will post it on my later blog post. Have a goodnight everyone.

MY GOAL FOR 2012

I really had a wonderful year in 2011 and I was hoping that it would continue this year 2012. Everything went well with my husband and I and to my family as well back in the Philippines.


This year I wanted to buy a land and I am hoping that I am able to accomplished it. My earning from my second job will go to my mom's bank account in the Philippines so she can save it for me to buy my land in the future. Good thing that my husband doesn't care about my earning from my second job, he allows me to spend it on anything I wanted to do with that money. I let him worry about all the bills that we needed to pay and sending money home in my family...ha! ha! ha!. I just wanted to make my dreams come true and I know it takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice which I am very willing to do just to achieve my goal.

CHRISTMAS 2011

I really have a great Christmas again this year although not everybody is present. Each of us has each own task to do to make the Christmas party a great one. The food was really delicious and everybody is enjoying it. When we are opening our gifts my family from the Philippines come online as well through SKYPE to celebrate the Christmas with us and everybody in the Hutton's family are so game to talk and say "hi" and greet a "Merry Christmas" to my family in the Philippines. Although there is a language barrier between my two family it doesn't stopped us to extend each other greetings in this joyous and very wonderful time of the year.

NEW TV

For Christmas last year, my husband and I decided to get a new TV for ourselves. I had no problem with the TV we had, but my husband insisted that we needed a flat screen HD TV. I did not realize it, but apparently when we got satellite TV from www.directstartv.com, we got a lot of HD channels. CALL MY BROTHER IN SAUDI

I am so glad that finally I was able to talk to my younger brother. It has been three months since he left in the Philippines to work in other country. I was so relieve to hear his voice and knowing that he is OK in there. This is his first time to work abroad so I am worried a little bit because I know the feeling of how it is to be away from home especially for him that he has nobody to look after his needs. Just glad that he had a goal in his life and dreams that wanted to achieve. It seems like being away from home helps him be more responsible and figure out what he really wants with his life. I am really happy for him and I am hoping that God will always protect and keep him safe all the time.

Now that I got expert satellite, my mom and I have even more in common. We both love the show “Project Runway”. I did not have a television package until half way through the current season, but I caught up on the “Project Runway” website. It is the first season that I have seen the show and I absolutely love it. It comes on every Thursday and the show is ninety minutes. It is really a unique reality television show. The designers are really talented and come up with some really creative things. Each challenge is unique and requires that the designers be creative and work quickly. My mom and I were so disappointed last week, when one of our favorite designers, Bert got kicked off the show. He was the oldest at 47, and had worked in the fashion industry before. He was always getting into it with some of the younger designers ( especially Josh). I really didn’t think that he would be gone and expected him to be one of the remaining few. I am interested to see who is going to win this season, my mom and I were definitely off with our guesses!

DREAM HOUSE

This time is the good time to purchase a house, when I check the listing of houses for sale online I can't believe the prices of the houses. If only we are not stuck with our current house I would rather get one now. There is this house that I really like it is nice and about 5 years old and it has 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, a basement, a pole shed and a 3 car garage for a $150.000. Isn't that a great deal? I sure do think so. Although this house is too big for just my husband and me, but I can't help myself fall in love with the house especially it has a cute little pond in the front yard, for now all I can do is dream and hope.

THE NICE WAITRESS

I have been working two Sundays in a row now in the restaurant and I am glad about it because it meant a better paycheck this coming Friday. TOUGH DECISION

When my husband picked me up from work last night he told me that the price of the house he liked to be moved in our place is down by 20 percent of its original moving cost if before December 20th we can buy it. It is a great news indeed, but we have to do something to come up with the money if ever we really decided to get the house and make sure to talk to our banker and if they agreed to give us a house financing loan for us to use to start. I hope my husband won't come up with the idea of selling his pickup truck again just to come up with some money to use for downpayment in the house. It would be a tough decision to make in the future if my husband really going to pursue in getting this house.

NEW LIFE FOR MY YOUNGER BROTHER

It is like a music to my ear hearing my mom's news about my younger brother situation in another country. I expected already that he would say something about the weather in there, but there is no quitting for him now. He knows how much money he spent just to be where he is now. I am really grateful to all the blessing my whole family got, GOD is so great to us and we have a good family support behind us though we had our misunderstanding at times, but still we manage to be together whenever we needed each other.
